Our studio is located above our store 88 boulevard Beaumarchais. The toiles, patterns, prototypes and first models are made in this Parisian workshop. Our will is to propose sizes of clothes in adequacy with our values of body positive. We pay particular attention to the finishes, comfort and quality of the materials used. Prints and colors are designed in our design studio or developed exclusively for us according to the artistic direction of the designer.
Our jeans made in Paris are developed, prototyped, then sewn and finished in one of the last French workshops specialized in the specific assembly of denim material. We are proud to honor this know-how in perdition.
We use GOTS certified organic cotton in our collections, guaranteeing that the cotton fiber is grown without GMOs and chemicals, and offering traceability from the cotton fields to the final customer.
Denimakers since 1846, our weaving partner is specialized in the denim manufacturing. Founded by José Julián Blanc and two French merchants, it is in Bergara that the factory specializes in the use of indigo blue for fabric dyeing. They are committed to protecting the environment at every step of the manufacturing process and to ensure the environmental sustainability of the denim industry.
More than 30 years ago, two French friends moved to Budapest to create a high-end workshop and a production unit dedicated to blur, tailoring and sleeved pieces each requiring specific know-how for a perfect fit and refined finishes. This partner is regularly audited and our teams as well as Valentine visit the manufacturing workshops every season.
Each item requires precise cutting, assembly, and know-how. We use French, Italian, English and Spanish fabrics and produce mainly custom-made orders, which limits the stock of unsold items and therefore the stock of dormant items.
« I am proud to collaborate with organizations that are committed to my sustainable development values and goals. Each of the pieces that compose the wardrobe are created around materials chosen for their natural, recycled or ecological value. »
We collaborate with a workshop held by a woman in India which has been running for over 10 years and promoting ethical values and traditional skills. A protocol has been implemented (working conditions, respect of salaries, sourcing). The workshop is visited every season by our teams without any intermediary. We know the employees and each manufacturing process from the sourcing of raw materials to the final ennoblement. The workshop focuses on fair working conditions and the automation of their employees by conducting several health and safety programs. Many social initiatives are set up: blood donation camps for the most needy children. As well, they work with the Blind Welfare society to help people with visual impairments become independent by offering them comprehensive services.
Since 1985, our knitter located in Lustosa in Northern Portugal, has established itself as a true specialist in knitting and reknitting thanks to its know-how and dedicated equipment. From pure creation to the raw material sourcing, through the realization of custom-made prototypes in its workshops, we use high quality materials and the most eco-responsible possible.
The shoes of the collections are designed by the designer and then manufactured in the family workshop of her companion in Spain, the fourth generation of bootmaker craftsmen.
Each model is sewn by hand, and the leathers used are sourced in France, Italy or Spain from suppliers who respect an environmental charter and favor vegetable-tanned leathers. The shoes are assembled in a traditional way in an ethical and social approach in the historical region of shoe manufacturing in Spain. The vegetable-tanned soles are hand-stitched, the outer skins and the sole are vegetable-tanned. Some of our colors are patinated by hand in their Parisian workshop located in the high marshes. Some patinas can be made to special order.
A Parisian bootmaker for about forty years, our partner handcrafts boots and shoes in his workshop located in the heart of Paris using vegetable tanned skins from French tanneries. These models are made on short numbered series and sometimes on orders according to the wishes of our customers.
Since the creation of the brand, we have been working with a Parisian tailor’s workshop for the making of jackets and pants.
As a historical and family business, we take pleasure in developing our models with them and bring the techniques of assembling the men’s wardrobe to our pieces.
